Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Head (fantasy colors double process).
Yes. A consultation is required to review color references, assess loc health, determine length and placement, and confirm the double-process plan. Bring a photo of your desired color so we can estimate time, products, and accurate pricing for your custom service.
Timing varies by loc length, density, and color complexity. Expect a multi-hour appointment—commonly four to eight hours—including consultation, lightening, toning, and color application. Your consult will provide a personalized time estimate so you can plan accordingly.
We evaluate loc integrity during consultation; protective, loc-friendly lightening techniques minimize damage. Severely compromised or weak locs might not be suitable—your stylist will recommend alternatives or pre-treatments. Proper aftercare and maintenance significantly reduce long-term risk and preserve loc strength.
Yes—bring clear reference photos of the colors and placement you want. Photos on locs are ideal to show how colors translate on textured hair. This helps us accurately match shades, plan the double-process, and set realistic expectations for results and timelines.
Longevity depends on color vibrancy, hair porosity, washing habits, sun exposure, and aftercare. Expect several weeks to a few months before noticeable fading; vivid colors often require touch-ups every 6–12 weeks. Proper sulfate-free products and cool-water washes extend color life.
Pricing varies by loc length, density, color complexity, and required lightening. After consultation we provide a precise quote; expect higher costs for extended length, multi-tone blends, and extra processing. Consultation fee may apply and is credited toward service.
