Service time ranges from about forty-five minutes to two and a half hours depending on hair length, density, and condition. Short Sisterlocks are completed quickly; longer or thicker locks require more time for thorough shampooing, conditioning, and precise detailing.
No. This service includes shampoo, conditioning, and a detailed styling only. Rope twists, curls, extensions, or additional styling techniques are extra and must be booked separately to protect the integrity of Sisterlocks and ensure proper technique.
We recommend booking every four to six weeks for maintenance, though frequency may vary with lifestyle, scalp oiliness, and activity level. Regular appointments maintain neat parts, prevent buildup, and keep Sisterlocks healthy and well-defined between retightening sessions.
We use sulfate-free, residue-free shampoos and lightweight conditioners specifically chosen for Sisterlocks. Products are selected to cleanse, hydrate, and protect without causing buildup. If you have sensitivities or preference for natural brands, let us know before your appointment.
No need—this service includes shampoo, so arriving with dry or lightly damp hair is fine. Avoid heavy oils or styling products right before your appointment to ensure optimal cleansing and product penetration during conditioning and detail styling.
Yes—light edge control and smoothing are included as part of the detailed style. Strong gels, extensions, or chemical treatments are not part of this service. Mention any sensitivity to styling products so we can use appropriate, non-irritating options.
